Hi! My name is Julie Bang. I am a Korean-American illustrator from New Jersey, graduated from RISD in Providence, RI, and am currently illustrating for Dotdash Meredith. My work explores people living their ordinary lives. I find inspiration in experiences in our everyday lives, bringing those unique special moments to life through my art. I try to communicate stories about various aspects of life by concentrating on relationships of all types and narratives in my artwork. My artworks are approachable and welcoming because they are made to comfort and give warmth to people by addressing parts of people’s lives that are relatable.
